Yolo Reads Adult Literacy Program Yolo Reads, a program of the Yolo County Library, aims to help adults who can speak English to improve their reading and writing skills through free one-on-one tutoring. Working with a tutor enables adults to focus on their personal reading and writing goals while learning at their own pace. Goals may include learning new computer skills, resume writing, studying to pass the citizenship exam or writing a letter. The Literacy Services staff provides free support and materials to volunteer tutors and adult learners. Do you know anyone who wants to improve their reading and writing skills? Please tell them about Yolo Reads today! Are you interested in helping someone to reach their reading and writing goals? Volunteer today! Contact Yolo Reads at 530-666-8019 or 866-609-7303 (toll free). Visit Yolo Reads online. |
